Can you say "bright"? I
love the Ultra gene, not only for the crosses that display the gene, but often
the non-ultra offspring of an ultra or ultramel cross will have brighter more
intense color as well. The Ultra gene is one of the newest discoveries in
the Corn Snake world. It is unique in that it is co-dominate with the
amelanistic gene and so in breeding and ultra snake to an amelanistic snake you
can see the results in the first generation.
