Caramel
(Caramel)

This is the base gene used to produce Amber and Butters (when combined with Hypomelanism or Amelanism respectively).  The background color on adult caramels can vary from a yellow-brown, to a caramel-tan, to a chocolate brown.   Their rich tones are not bright but they are a  beautiful snake in their own right.    Hatchlings appear much duller and are more of a coco brown color, (the yellow tones will slowly appear with each shed).
The Motley, Stripe and Diffused patterns will also typically enhance and brighten the colors.
